According to the CDC, 1 in 4 adults in the US has some type of disability. Chances are that you will either personally experience or be directly affected by someone with a disability. Though farmers are some of the toughest ones out there, unfortunately they are not immune. Whether it’s low vision, arthritis or even a mobility concern, AgrAbility is a free resource for Virginia farmers to help find solutions, making daily tasks more accessible.
AgrAbility is funded by USDA NIFA. Supplementary funds, from donors like you, enable us to expand our audience and resources. Whether it is creating strategies to enhance mental health or obtaining assistive technology to improve accessibility and enhance independence, your money will directly impact the work of our farmers.
